Hello fellow Middle Schoolers! We are the Anti-Bullying Committee. The ABC is a student-led group designed to promote awareness and take action against bullying. Superficially, ISB seems like a warm and welcoming community, but beneath that, there are victims that are being pressured silently. Which leads us to our cause: We are here to make our community a brighter, cordial place, and stop and raise awareness about bullying. Think about how many times in the past you've been hurt. How many times you have hurt others. We, as middle schoolers, pretend that we don't hurt; we pretend that we don't hurt others. But think about it, do you really think comments like "You don't belong here!" or "Why are you so retarded?" don't hurt others? The Anti Bullying Committee believes that our community, and us as a student body, can work together to make this community the best it can be.
